The deadline for our Fall Congressional Internship is less than two weeks away! Apply today for an opportunity to gain valuable insight into public service and policymaking.
The APAICS Fall Internship is a twelve-week program that provides undergraduate students with placements in U.S. Congressional offices in Washington, D.C. and gain career experience in American politics and public policy.
Besides being an exciting opportunity to work in a congressional office, our twelve-week program develops professional and leadership skills, encourages political and civic engagement, and introduces interns to public service in the nation’s capital.

12 weeks (September 2017-December 2017)

– $3,750 program stipend
– Complimentary roundtrip airline ticket

– Interest in government, public policy, and Asian American & Pacific Islander community empowerment

– Evidence of leadership abilities and excellent oral/written communication skills
– Current enrollment in accredited 2 or 4 year undergraduate institution. Recent graduates welcome to apply.
– U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency at the time of application. Individuals seeking consideration under the “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” (DACA) policy must possess an Employment Authorization Document.
– 18 years of age by September 1, 2017

– Intern at the White House, other federal agencies, or congressional offices. 12 weeks, Sept ~ Dec 2017.
– Firsthand experience in American politics and public policy. APAICS provides training. Develop leadership and professional skills.


  • Current enrollment in an accredited two-year or four-year undergraduate educational institution. Recent graduates (within 6 months) are also welcome to apply.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency at the time of application.
