Rally for Justice for Liang

As part of a national effort, OCAA led and organized the Justice For Liang rally near Easton Town Center in Columbus OH. The rally occurred on Feb 20 as part of a nationwide effort supporting Ex-NYPD-Officer Peter Liang. In 2016, Chinese American communities across the U.S. became unprecedentedly united to recognize the importance of participation in American society and the urgency of protecting the civil rights of Chinese Americans. OCAA stepped up in face of Officer Liang’s injustice trial and gathered 200 participants from Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, Mainsfield among other areas to rally near Easton to get our voice heard.
